Scooters: Fun or Dangerous?
While scooters are cost effective and provide great gas mileage, they’re also, unfortunately, quite dangerous to operate on the open road. While scooters have become increasingly popular, people seem to have overlooked the fact that they are also hazardous to operate. Many of the people who you see driving scooters on college campuses across America may not have considered the inherent danger of operating one of these vehicles. While automobile delivery services will continue ship scooters to retailers as demand increases, we can only hope that those people who choose to operate a scooter do so and the safest manner possible. So if you buy a scooter, be sure to wear the appropriate safety equipment, including a helmet and some type of heavy garment to prevent road rash. If you follow these rules you will very likely have a greater chance of having a safe driving experience on a scooter.
